Before coronavirus became a massive part of our lives, suspended football for almost two months now and is set to have a big knock-on effect on the gane, West Ham could have had a busy summer.
However, now that is looking less likely, though the Premier League is targeting a restart for the 2019/20 season next month, believed to be on June 8.
If that happens and the Hammers do indeed survive relegation from ther top flight this year, then there could be some scope for them to make moves this summer despite a reduced budget.
The club is injecting £30million into its coffers this month after six weeks without income so loan and swap deals may well be a theme this summer.
West Ham's midfield had improved in 2020 under Moyes after a sluggish start, the five games prior to elite football being suspended showed that, but the manager could still have decisions to make over some players heading into next season.
Here we analyse each of them and whether they have a future at the club under Moyes.
Declan Rice
If the club can keep hold of him then of course Rice has a future. football.london understands that while no player is off limits from being sold this summer, Rice is firmly at the bottom of the list. Keep.
Carlos Sanchez
He is out of contract at the end of the season, whenever that is, and will not be offered a new deal. He's off. Released
Mark Noble
The captain will remain an integral part of the the Hammers for the rest of his career and he certainly won't be sold this summer. Whether Moyes starts to reduce his minutes we shall see but on the face of it, not yet as, still, the team plays much better when Noble is part of it. Keep.
Tomas Soucek
The midfielder made a big impact in just three appearances after signing on loan from Slavia Prague in January and has already become a firm favourite with the Hammers supporters for his all action displays and work ethic.
The club has a £16.9million option on Soucek to sign him up this summer and football.london understands that money has been put aside if they wanjt to use it for that reason. And they should. Sign permanently.
Robert Snodgrass
The Scotsman is a popular figure in the dressing room in east London and while his impact on the pitch is maybe not where it was 12 months ago, he is a still an important player for Moyes squad. He brings depth in a key area and can still get the job done coming off the bench. Keep.
Jack Wilshere
He claims he is now fully fit and ready for action when the Premier League returns and Wilshere could well be in the last chance saloon when he does. He's out of contract at the end of next season and Moyes has a massive decision to make over the former Gunner as he has failed to shurug off his injury-prone tag. Sell.
Manuel Lanzini
Another player Moyes has to make a big decision over. Having claimed that Lanzini was one of the best players at the club, the Argentine has played five minutes of football after being subbed off by Moyes against Liverpool.
Lanzini has struggled to recapture the form prior to his serious knee injury, which is entirely understandable. Could West Ham cash in? With Pablo Fornals having usurped Lanzini, you can't rule it out. However, we can't see it. Keep....just.
Pablo Fornals
The Spaniard claimed in an interview earlier this week that we haven't seen the real him yet this season, though he had started to show sings of it porior to the stoppage of the game,
Moyes took some selling on Fornals initially but the midfielder's qork ethic has seemingly paid dividends, chipping in with goals and assists helps too, and he's usurped Lanzini for now. Keep.
Those players on loan
Josh Cullen
The midfielder has had another decrnt spell at Charlton but having still failed to make the breakthrough at West Ham, his time is running out. He signed a new contract before heading off to The Vallry for a second time and if the Hammers do remain in the Premier League, it's tough to see him staying in east London. Sell.
Conor Coventry
The youngster was getting his first taste of senior football on loan at Lincoln City having penned a new long-term contract in the capital. That has been cut short thanks to Covid-19.
Coventry isn't quite ready to step into a Premier League midfiel;d just yet but is certianly one to keep hold of for the future. Keep but loan out next season. Loan out again next season.

Atletico Madrid midfielder Hector Herrera is on the radar of West Ham United as the Mexican is due to leave the Rojiblancos once the transfer window reopens.
The 30-year-old is out of contract at the end of June and has several offers on the table but is interested in a move to London.
According to the Independent, West Ham have been vying for Herrera's signature since he turned down the opportunity to join the Hammers in January.
With an engine as efficient as someone much younger, Herrera is exactly the box-to-box midfielder David Moyes is looking for.
Herrera has spent the last five and a half seasons at Porto, scoring 35 goals in 245 games for the Portuguese club before signing for Madrid in 2019.
The Mexican was brought in to replace Rodri after he moved to City for €70 million (£62.8m).
Herrera turned down the option to join West Ham as he wanted to wait until the end his season with the Spanish giants, gaining as much first-team experience as possible in La Liga.
Since then Moyes signed Polish midfielder Tomas Soucek on a loan deal that has an option to buy.
The Hammers have, however, been pining for the Mexican's signature and will take the necessary action to get it - even if that includes releasing some of their high-rollers.
The club has revealed that no players are considered 'off-limits' this summer, including £45m club-record signing Sebastian Haller and Spanish midfielder Pablo Fornal.
